Alexander has been living in San Salvador, El Salvador since January
of 2003. He is the First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic
of China (Taiwan) in El Salvador. He has been married to Karen for
11 years, and they are the proud parents of 6 year old Eric.
Last Known Sighting: I was roommates with Marc Cisneros (BHS
81?) my freshman year at Texas A&M. I kept in touch by mail and
exchanged Christmas cards during College years with some fellow BHS
schoolmates, but have not had any contact ever since.
I miss: Hey, I liked the way of life in Panama so much, I joined
the Foreign Service so that I could still enjoy the cervezas and the
patacones and salsa music, and get paid by doing that.
Comments: I found this website by pure chance, and it's as
if I found a wonderful treasure chest, and was almost overcome by
emotions while reading all the wonderful developments of my friends.
Hard to believe it's been over 20 years! I hope to get in contact
with some of you and meet if the opportunity arises. As for me, I
received my B.A. and M.A. from Texas A&M, went back to Taiwan,
fulfilled my military service for 2 years, and was later accepted
into the Foreign Service, where I was posted in New York from 95 to
99, returned to Taiwan and served as Section Chief, went to Harvard
in 02 for a Senior Executives' Fellowship and now I'm here in El Salvador
since January of 03.
